The official app of the 2012 Orion Music + More festival! Orion Music + More is a brand new festival curated and headlined by Metallica. The weekend will feature multiple live music stages plus lifestyle elements that reflect each of Metallica's band member's personal interests. Metallica will headline both nights of Orion Music + More, performing 'Ride The Lightning' on Saturday, June 23 and 'The Black Album' on Sunday, June 24, both in their entirety. This will be the only time the band will perform these albums in North America in 2012. Additional events taking place over the weekend that fans will not want to miss include "Kirk's Crypt," a showcase of guitarist Kirk Hammett's passion for all things horror including vintage film posters, movie props, collectables and more; the custom car and motorcycle show hosted by James Hetfield; Lars' "Hit The Lights" film tent, a chance to take in films hand-picked and introduced by the man himself, including the North American premiere of "Mission To Lars" and some other surprises; the Billabong "Seek and Destroy Atlantic City Air Assault" surfing expedition including pro riders with visits by Kirk and bassist Rob Trujillo, who will also have their own surfboards on display; "Ktulu's Rock 'N' Roll Emporium," a rock and roll market; the "Vans Motorbreath Mini Ramp" featuring demos and signings from their team riders; the "Metallica Museum" displaying rarely seen artifacts from throughout the band's career including artwork, instruments, merchandise, stage props and more; "Enter Met Club," a place where Met Club members can relax, hang with other Clubbers and check out/participate in Q&A's with some of folks behind the scenes that keep the Metallica engine running.
